m551 sheridan

Hi there i have a question i cannnot my 50 cal aamg gun at 20 hexes and the information screen say i can fire i at 40 hexes maybe a bug?

problem solved i my change the direction from the tank i was to fast with the question sorry

The AAMG has a 360 degree field of fire, so you should not have to turn the vehicle to bear. Ah - actually looked at the data. The gun is in slot 4, so is treated as a fixed bow weapon. (AAMG are usually not in slot 4, but looks like it has to be here because of the extra line for the gun missile).

Code now changed so that weapon class 4 (AAA) is not treated as a fixed bow weapon if placed in weapon slot 4.

Didn't realize putting a WC-4 weapon in weapon slot #4 in a vehicle over-rode the "fixed bow" restrictions ... handy.

Am I correct in assuming this applies to UC-197 (Rivercraft) and similar Unit Class units as well?

It probably does, as they are vehicles.
