Manual pdf. file for Downloaded version

Hi

I buy the downloaded version of Dom3 but i hear people saying you have a pdf file for the Manual included with your digital version but i have no idea where to find it. After i install the game i look in all the folder of Dom3 but cant find it. Hope someone know about this because it annoying for me to miss a nice 300 pages manual just because i buy the digital version instead of the physical version.

Thanks

Its supposed to be in dominions3/doc/

What operating system to do you have? Linux, Windows, Mac? And which version?

Same for me but I have the full "box" version with paper manual. I wish I had a PDF though.

I would contact support@ so the Shrapnel people can help you out.
They can verify that you bought the game and should be able to provide you a manual.

@Marmaduke you might try the same if you ask real nice. :)

I just looked, and my recent full box version purchase install also has just those 2 pdf files. And I'm sure I installed right (Vista)! Can't believe we need support, a CD is a CD (and is probably unchanged for years)! Could someone please post here when they have an answer, thanks.

P.S.
Just looked in (on?) the CD. Nope, just those 2 pdfs, no other pdfs, and it looks like the very last time it was updated was 2008. Who said there was a pdf manual anyway (though how you'd play download only is a mystery)?

Yes, thats right. The CD hasnt changed in years. There was no digital download and PDF version of the manual when the CD was created. It was purposely left off when the CD was made.

Not sure what you mean by cant believe you need support.
What alternative did you have in mind? Someone else offer it to you?

Lol, no, I meant, presumably, they either offer it for download publicly or they don't (or perhaps you mean it is only given to digital-ers?). Can't believe people would need to contact them individually each time.

Oh ok.
As far as I know it should have been with his download.
As far as I know its only for downloaders (but its a small company so if you ask nice you might have a chance)

Re: Manual pdf. file for Downloaded version

I just recently purchased dominions 3 (digital download version) and THERE IS a pdf manual.
When you first download dominions 3 you should receive a zip/rar file called DOM3_winDL (assuming you got the windows version). When you unzip that, you should get 3 files:
1. The dominions3_installer.exe file
2. A readme.txt file
3. AND the MANUAL in pdf (named DOM3_Manual.pdf), which seems to be the latest 2008 version
The manual IS NOT in the "doc" folder, which is where one would normally expect to find it, hence all the confusion.
