Wishing for SCs
If you're wishing for a specific SC, what format does the game want?
I.E, to get Oriegenes, do you wish for him by name or "King of Mountains"? What about non-uniques, would you just type in, for example, "Seraph"? To what extent is the game flexible, i.e. would "The King of Mountains" or "A Seraph" fail? Same question about items. If you're wishing for, say, the Sceptre of Dark Regency, you just type in "Sceptre of Dark Regency"/"The Sceptre of Dark Regency"? |
Re: Wishing for SCs
"King of mountains", the unit type is what matters, not unit name. You don't wish a seraph by name "Hotzenplotz" or whatever either, you wish for a "Seraph". If you wanted, say the demon lord goat sun (Buer), you'd wish for "goat sun". I've never used "the" or "a" in beginning of the wish, so can't comment on that. Better leave it off.

Re: Wishing for SCs
The best way to test this is to use the debug mod.

Re: Wishing for SCs
Don't worry about typing something wrong, you won't lose the gems. You will immediately get a message saying that you can't wish for it.

Re: Wishing for SCs
However, wishing for some things can lead to funny results. For example you can try to wish for "Horror Harmonica" :)
