Convert Dom3 maps to Dom2?
 

Sorry if it was already answered elsewhere, but i couldn´t find with the search funcion....

How do i convert a Dom3 map to Dom2?

I´m playing some fun maps in Dom3 in my desktop but my notebook onlyu can handle Dom2 and i would wish to have the same maps availabe to use with Dom2...

Open the map file in the map editor, change all border mountains to mountains or remove the border mountain tag entirely and then save the map with another name. Then they will work. Subject to the map size limitations for Dom2 pixel-wise, of course.

Do you know what is the pixel limit to Dom2 maps? I read somewhere that there was a 500 province limit but didn´t knew there was a pixel limit too...

I have no idea. Most Dom3 maps should work in Dom2, but I'm not sure about Faerun 466 and Oeridia is another one that may push past the limit. But you can try them.
