Dirty Tricks? Anyone?

I was thinking of a new Race to take in a PBW game and come up with this interesting idea.

Take all the Race, government and trait abilities that cause your Population happiness to decrease!

Make as many "Migration" treaties as you can during the game.

Watch in amusement as your neighbors battle with your unhappy populace! Now, knowing this going into the game you start with cultural traits and happiness facililties from the get go. This way you don't have the problems.

This could give you a nice advantage as your Depressed Anarchist People plunge everyone around you into turmoil.

Huummmm.....What are some other good "Dirty tricks?" No cheating, but things to cause a big stir with your neighbors or enemy empires. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/evil.gif

Hmm...Does unhappiness from enemy ships count cloaked vessels?

I thought alien populations didn't retain any traits, just atmosphere breathed?

That was true in SEIV, but I had the impression that it changed in SEV.

(I'm making progress; now I own a computer that could run SEV, but it doesn't currently have a functioning way to get patches onto it.)

Look at planets with migrated Population and you will see the racial characteristics from the other Empires people.

I have considered doing such a thing. Having a race that is nothing but trouble for others, and no I don't mean being naturally aggresive http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

How about agreeing to trade ships and then scrapping your ship in the turn the other empire expectedly agrees? I can't help but expect this sort of thing, in a current game the other guy gave me some colony ships, pity they are something like 6 months away from my nearest ship yard. Still it gives me time to withhold my end.... I mean make them available.

I am cursed with the ability to figure out all these exploits but I can't bring myself to do any of them. There's a point where being sneaky turns into outright unsportsmanship.

To be even MORE evil, have unnaturally high reproduction on your race. Make sure that your civilization breeds like flies. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
