AI settings errors?

I start a game, do all my usual first turns things, then end the turn. As it's going through the other player turns, the game will stop and display a message: AI Settings Errors, with a list such as can't find number allied planets for anger, stuff like that. Someone give me answer please. It's getting annoying.

This is most likely because you are using some new races taken from the various websites. Their AI files are bugged.

What's the simplest way to fix it.

The Last revision significantly modified the .txt files in the \SEIV\pictures\races area. It added some information to the settings.txt file and added some completely new files to existing races. The best thing to do is to look at an existing race and change your added races to match one or more of them. The easiest way is to copy the missing files from an existing race, changing the name of the file to match the new race, and modify it to fit the personality of the added race. Be sure to add the correct files for the type of research your race does, for example if your new race has Organic trait copy files from an Organic using race. Don't forget to add the line at the end of the Settings.txt that tells the personality type of your race. Thats the quikest way but you can take more time to modify things further if you want to. I evened out the atmosphere and planet types used a bit more because it seems everyone was Oxygen rock and a lot of the downloadable races are too (maybe because the majority of them are Human). Besides the Que Cappa just look like a gas giant methane breather to me.

There are a lot of things that can be modified from the types of components in the ships to what technologies they research so the more you look at the files the more there is to change.
