Othaglot & Cane: The best detective-based fanfic on this forum. Read it!

For some reason I was thinking of this poll I did, so I looked it up and- spookily enough- found it was almost exactly a year old.

I took this stange coincidence to be an omen, so I decided to do another one. That and to satisfy my eternal cravings for praise and peer-validation.

I'm also hoping to drum up a few new readers, as you can probably tell from the thread's new title.

For those who haven't a clue what I'm talking about, Othaglot & Cane is a piece of se4 fan fiction available here: http://www.dogscoff.co.uk/fiction/

Rather than follow events at a galactic level like most se4 fanfic, it tries to explore an individual se4 empire from the point of view of some of the people living in it, all in the context of a good old-fashioned murder-mystery crime thriller.
