Re: Help?
Nope. The 300 page manual by Bruce Geryk is the only official one. If you don't have it you probably have been decieved by an evil e-bayer.
Research is easy, just give your mages the research order and chose what school to research in the magics menu. After a couple of turns you have access to a bunc of new spells. The game would be a lot more understandable if you had a manual http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif |

Well, I'm sorry for buying a pirated version of the game. The game came in the box, with it's CD key on a sheet of paper. I've gotten games like this before, thought nothing of it because it said it had been used, and hey, people lose manuals. Hell, that's the first thing I tend to lose. But, thanks for being so helpful. The game *is* fun.. |

Personally I never purchase anything from EBay unless it's never been opened and the seller has lots of sales with a high rating. |

It's been Shrapnel policy that if you use a pirated copy, you will be forcibly denied the support these forums offer. The mods here are required to bring your situation to the attention of the admins, who tend to be rather swift and straightforward in this kind of cases. In your case, they would probably want to talk to you by PM or email to sort some details out and resolve the issue. Any further discussion in this thread is going to be rather useless, so it should be taken to PM and the issue raised with the admins, who will then take over the arrangements. |
Re: Help?
I'm also locking this thread now, since there is nothing more to discuss in public.
